This policy explains how ANT INTELLIGENCE JOINT STOCK COMPANY, trading as Ant Intelligence, handles personal data in its mobile applications — Soulscape: Meditation & Emotion and Đẹp Tướng — Nhân Tướng Thẩm Mỹ — and on this website.
For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, the data controller is ANT INTELLIGENCE JOINT STOCK COMPANY, No. 10, Alley 131, Tran Phu Street, Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi, 100000, Vietnam. You can reach our privacy contact at privacy@antintellect.com.
1. Our principles
- Collect the minimum. If a feature works without a piece of data, we do not ask for it.
- On-device by default. Where processing can happen on your phone, it does.
- No sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- Your reflections are yours. We do not use the content of your journal entries or your photographs to train third-party AI models.
2. Data we collect
Data you give us
- Account details — where you create an account, an email address or the identifier returned by Sign in with Apple.
- Soulscape wellbeing data — emotional check-ins, reflections and journal entries, practice progress, Sprout collection, and sanctuary configuration.
- Đẹp Tướng analysis data — photographs you choose to submit for facial analysis, and date-of-birth or related details used for astrological calculation.
- Correspondence — what you write to us when you request support.
Data collected automatically
- Device and diagnostic data — device model, operating system version, app version, language, crash reports and performance traces.
- Usage data — which screens and features are used, in aggregate and pseudonymous form, so we can see what is working.
- Purchase status — subscription and entitlement state supplied by Apple. We never see your card number.
Data we do not collect
We do not collect your contacts, your precise location, your microphone input, your browsing on other sites, or your health records.
3. Special categories and facial images
Two kinds of data in our apps deserve particular care, and we treat them accordingly.
Facial photographs in Đẹp Tướng
A photograph of a face may constitute biometric or otherwise sensitive personal data in some jurisdictions. We therefore process it only where you have given explicit, separate consent by choosing to submit a photograph for a reading. The image is used solely to produce your reading and the recommendations that follow it. It is not used for identification, verification, matching against any database, advertising, or model training. You may withdraw consent and delete stored images at any time, and doing so does not affect any other part of the app.
Wellbeing content in Soulscape
Reflections about your emotional state can reveal information about mental wellbeing. We process this content only to provide the app to you, on the basis of your consent and the contract between us. It is not shared with advertisers, insurers, employers, or any third party except the infrastructure providers listed below, who process it strictly on our instructions.
4. Why we process data, and our legal bases
- To provide the Services — deliver readings, save progress, sync across your devices. Basis: performance of a contract.
- To process facial images and wellbeing content — Basis: your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- To keep the Services working — diagnose crashes, fix bugs, prevent abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure product.
- To improve the Services — understand which features help. Basis: legitimate interest, using pseudonymous or aggregated data.
- To communicate with you — answer support requests and send essential service notices. Basis: contract and legitimate interest.
- To comply with law — tax, accounting, and lawful requests. Basis: legal obligation.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. The readings produced by Đẹp Tướng are entertainment and are not decisions about you.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under written agreements, and only as far as needed:
- Apple — app distribution, payments, subscription state, and Sign in with Apple.
- Cloud hosting and storage providers — to run the backend and store your data.
- Crash reporting and analytics providers — to receive diagnostic and pseudonymous usage data.
- Customer support tooling — to handle your emails.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, to protect the rights and safety of users or the public, or in connection with a merger or acquisition — in which case we will give notice before your data becomes subject to a different policy.
We do not sell personal data and have not sold or shared personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising in the preceding twelve months.
6. International transfers
We are based in Vietnam and our providers may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, together with additional safeguards where necessary. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards from our privacy contact.
7. How long we keep data
- Account and app content — for as long as your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
- Facial photographs — retained only as long as needed to produce and re-display your reading, and deleted within 30 days of your request. Where analysis can complete without storage, the image is discarded immediately after processing.
- Diagnostic and crash data — up to 12 months.
- Aggregated and anonymised statistics — indefinitely. These can no longer identify you.
- Transaction and tax records — for the period required by law, typically 10 years in Vietnam.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- access — obtain a copy of the data we hold about you;
- rectification — correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- erasure — have your data deleted;
- restriction — limit how we process your data;
- portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format;
- objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- withdrawal of consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Residents of California additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed; the right to delete and correct it; the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither); the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, write to privacy@antintellect.com from the address associated with your account. We respond within 30 days. We do not charge a fee and we will not degrade your service for asking. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request concerning sensitive data.
9. Children
Soulscape is intended for users aged 13 and over. Đẹp Tướng carries a 4+ content rating because its content is suitable for all ages, but the facial analysis features are not directed to children: submitting a photograph requires you to be at least 16, or to have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to our privacy contact and we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls limited to staff who need the data to do their job, segregated production environments, and regular review of our providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal data and is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and within 72 hours where required.
11. This website
This website is a company and product information site. It uses only cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to serve the pages. It does not run advertising trackers or third-party profiling. Fonts are served from our own domain, so visiting these pages does not disclose your visit to a font provider.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect, and the “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
